Anupam Kher Calls Rajinikanth ‘God’s Gift to Mankind’ at PM Modi’s Swearing-In Ceremony

Veteran actor Anupam Kher recently expressed his profound admiration for superstar Rajinikanth in a heartfelt video shared on social media. The two iconic actors were present at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday. In the video, Anupam Kher is seen walking beside Rajinikanth, surrounded by security and other attendees, as he showers praises on the Tamil cinema legend.

Kher, a long-time fan of Rajinikanth, turned his front camera towards the superstar and exclaimed, “The one and only, Mr. Rajini-the-kanth! The one and only! The God’s gift to mankind! Waah (wow)!” Rajinikanth, smiling warmly, acknowledged the compliment. Kher shared the video on social media with the caption, “God’s gift to mankind! The one and only – #Rajnikanth! Jai Ho!”

Rajinikanth attended the swearing-in ceremony alongside other notable celebrities such as Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Kangana Ranaut. Before departing for Delhi, Rajinikanth spoke to reporters at the airport, expressing his sentiments about the event. “I am going to take part in the swearing-in ceremony… It is a very historic event. Assuming office for the third consecutive term is Narendra Modi’s big achievement, my hearty greetings to him. People have elected a robust opposition which is a healthy sign for democracy,” he said.

Rajinikanth’s last appearance was in the film “Lal Salaam.” He is set to appear in TJ Gnanavel’s “Vettaiyan,” slated for release in October, featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, and Rana Daggubati. Additionally, Rajinikanth will soon resume shooting for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s “Coolie.”
